THE BERKSHIRE HAIR HUB
ENVIRONMENTAL PROMISE
Joanne Gilder has a personal mission in life to be kind to the environment and people around her and do what she can to lower carbon foot print where she can. As the owner of THE BERKSHIRE HAIR HUB and working within the hair dressing industry this is some what a challenge however Joanne has found a way.
Switching washable towels for biodegradable towels as this not only is more hygienic but also saves energy and also reduces micro plastics in our waterways (100% saved money and resources). Recycling wherever the salon can, working with local authorities to recycle what resources we have, ie: card and paper (local schools, recycling plants). Reducing our water usage. Foil washed and sent to recycling plant as this is our biggest and cheapest recycling format with in the UK
AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING
We try to use environmentally friendly products and also we are making a plastic pledge to reuse the bottles you buy from us, bring your empty bottles back to the salon and we will re-fill them, with a 10% discount. There are many more eco friendly ways to save this world, we are all a cause and affect of our own actions and our world needs help.
small changes make BIG DIFFERENCES
At THE BERKSHIRE HAIR HUB we have chosen to not use any brand, products or resources that cause harm to the environment, also we recycle, re-use and reduce where ever we can. #LOVEYOURHAIRLOVEGILDEDHAIR
